A shift is indeed underway, yet it is paramount to assess the nature of this transformation. Are these educational centers genuinely adopting new strategies, or are these shifts window dressing for branding objectives? Such shifts must go beyond academic trends and transform practices to tackle actual issues. How far does the curriculum change or will those enrolled be regurgitating old ideas that clash with a new direction? If genuine change is taking place in curricula, are these alterations just more complicated techniques? The difficulty of measuring meaningful impacts further complicates the entire dynamic, bringing about questions on measurement of such a shift. The drive to be relevant through change risks superficiality. There has been a recognition of interdependence between business actions and their consequences that warrants attention, yet the change seems to be mostly for a better "optics" in society. Business schools must grapple with the complicated interaction of purpose, profit, and the societal impact of their students’ actions. It is up to this generation to question if "impact" is indeed new, or merely another form of manipulation.

Concluding with the ethos of Friedrich Nietzsche "What does not kill us makes us stronger" - The institutions shall move forward, but always with self-awareness.
