And now in Poem form:
In the depths of my despair,
I found a photograph so rare,
A fleeting glimpse of who I used to be,
And it filled me with such ecstasy.
But as I looked upon that face,
I felt a chill run through this place.
For in its eyes, there lay a truth
That shook me to the very root.
It spoke of all that I had lost,
Of pain and sorrow at great cost.
And though it brought some small relief
It left me trembling like a leaf.
For if this image was but one lie
What else could lurk inside my mind's eye?
My thoughts now twist and turn about
As fear and doubt begin to sprout.
Can I trust myself or what is real?
Or will insanity be my final seal?
This photo has shattered all control;
Leaving only madness for my soul.
