I couldn't help but think of two scenes from the beloved children's series, "Paw Patrol," that perfectly illustrate the importance of taking care of oneself and not sweating the small stuff.
The first scene comes from the episode, "Pups Save a Hoedown," where Mayor Goodway is feeling overwhelmed and anxious about hosting the annual hoedown. Despite the help of the Paw Patrol, she becomes increasingly stressed, leading to her losing her voice and unable to announce the event. It's only when Ryder and the pups remind her to take a deep breath and take care of herself that she's able to regain her composure and enjoy the hoedown.
The second scene is from the episode, "Pups Save the Sea Turtles," where the pups discover a group of sea turtles trapped in a fishing net. While the pups work tirelessly to free the turtles, Rubble becomes overwhelmed by the task at hand. However, with the help of Skye, he's able to take a step back and regroup, ultimately saving the day.
Both of these scenes highlight the importance of taking care of oneself, especially during stressful times. It's easy to get caught up in the small details and forget to take a step back and breathe. But as the Paw Patrol shows us, taking care of oneself is just as important as taking care of others.
